We are looking for:
An S&OP Manager that will be responsible for implementing, and leading Remedica’s Sales Operations Planning (SOP) process end-to-end. As the company’s first dedicated SOP resource, this role will establish the governance, cadence, and discipline required to align demand, supply, and financial planning into one integrated operating plan.
The role will also oversee Sales Operations Execution (SOE) in the short term to ensure alignment between monthly plans and daily execution.
As an S&OP Manager you will be:
- Own the entire monthly S&OP process (demand planning, supply planning, pre-S&OP, executive S&OP).
- Facilitate development of a consensus forecast incorporating all required inputs.
- Align production and material availability with demand, highlight constraints, and develop alternative scenarios.
- Lead short-term execution forums (<3 months horizon), ensuring weekly schedules are aligned with S&OP commitments.
- Define, track, and communicate KPIs such as forecast accuracy, OTIF, plan adherence, and inventory turns.
- Establish governance, calendars, and meeting structures to embed a consistent S&OP cycle across the organization.
- Drive collaboration between Commercial, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Procurement, Finance, Regulatory, and Quality.
- Identify gaps in data, systems, and processes; lead initiatives to improve visibility, accuracy, and stability.
- Present insights, risks, and trade-offs to the Executive Team, facilitating fact-based decision-making.
- Lay the foundation for a dedicated planning function by identifying skill gaps and developing a roadmap for team growth.
- Lead root cause analysis for any significant deviations in demand, supply, or inventory, driving corrective actions as needed.
What will you bring:
- 5–10 years’ experience in SOP or Integrated Business Planning within the pharmaceutical, biotech, or broader life sciences industry.
- Proven track record of running or facilitating SOP cycles from demand planning through to executive review.
- Experience coordinating short-term operational planning (SOE) alongside medium- to long-term SOP.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards in the pharmaceutical industry is preferred.
- Strong analytical background with demonstrated ability to manage forecasting, production planning, and inventory analysis.
- Hands-on experience with Excel and PowerBI; ERP/APS system exposure (e.g. SAP S/4HANA) an advantage.
- University degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field.
Skills Competencies
- Hands-On Operator: Comfortable working with imperfect systems and building processes from scratch.
- Cross-Functional Influencer: Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills; able to break silos and align functions.
- Analytical Detail-Oriented: Data-driven decision-maker who can interpret trends, identify risks, and recommend actions.
- Change Leadership: Ability to drive adoption of new processes in a historically firefighting-oriented culture.
- Resilience Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment with limited structure.
- Balanced Skillset: Equally strong in hard planning skills and soft people skills.
Success in this Role Will Look Like
- A stable monthly SOP cycle with clear roles, inputs, and outputs.
- Improved forecast accuracy across all revenue streams and supply plan stability.
- Reduction in firefighting through better short-term SOE coordination.
- Adoption of key KPIs across functions, with visible improvements in OTIF and inventory reliability.
- Cross-functional leaders aligned around one set of numbers.
- Facilitates and trains others on Integer’s SOP process.
