Job Purpose:
The purpose of this position is to perform routine and preventive maintenance, repairs, and general upkeep of facilities, equipment, and infrastructure. This role ensures that all systems operate efficiently and safely, supporting smooth daily operations across the site.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Performs the various instructions from the supervisors regarding the maintenance and repairs of machinery, utilities and facilities.
- Inspect machinery, utilities and facilities and confirm that they are kept in good condition and fit for their intended use. In contrast, take all the necessary measures in cooperation with colleagues to restore them to a satisfactory state.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and carry out necessary repairs to ensure minimal disruption to operations
- Follow closely the safety, hygiene, cleaning and other internal and external regulations.
- Carries out visual and other pre-defined checks at work and informs the manager and his supervisor of any unusual deviations or out-of-boundary results.
- Coordinate with external vendors or contractors when specialized work is required
- Checks and assures that the various operations are carried out based on the instructions.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance work completed, including materials used, time spent, and parts replaced
Qualifications and Skills:
- Diploma/Certification in Engineering Technology, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.
- 1–3 years of relevant work experience in a technical or engineering support role, preferably in a manufacturing, construction, or industrial setting.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions, work effectively with colleagues, and cooperate within a team environment.
- Strong attention to detail and capacity to follow procedures and safety instructions accurately.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Excellent Greek & English languages
