Job Description: 

 

We are looking for:

A responsible technician to manufacture requested equipment/parts and execute repairs and improvements in production areas and facilities as requested

 

As a Workshop Technician you will be:

  • Execution of repairs and improvements through fabrications or welding for production equipment or machinery/spare parts/facilities etc as assigned by workshop supervisor.
  • Set up and operate the machines in the Workshop relevant to fabrications workshop, such as, press brake, shearing machine, vertical drill, handtools, etc.
  •  Set up and operate TIG/ MIG/ Arc welding equipment.
  • Fabrication of various structures like steps, stairs, railings, canopies etc
  • Fabrication of metal furniture/fittings for production areas such as tables, trolleys, stands, cupboards, barriers, etc
  • Monitoring machinery on a daily basis to ensure functionality and follow up on regular maintenances according to schedule.
  • Supervising machines while they execute tasks and make any necessary adjustments to produce a better result.
  • Perform his tasks according to schedule and priorities and deadlines set from the Workshop supervisor.
  • Ensuring that all functionalities of the department comply to the established regulations and guidelines such as Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and the current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).
  • Carrying out any other duties as assigned by the Workshop Supervisor and/or Engineering Manager.

 

What you will bring:

  • Technical School diploma is required
  • Welding Certificate is preferred
  • At least 1 year of experience in a similar position
  • Good command of the English language
  • Quality verbal and written communication skills
