We are looking for:
A passionate person to plan, organise and supervise production personnel and operations, with the ultimate goal of maximum productivity, safeguarding that the required tasks are completed in accordance with the relevant specifications.
As a Shift team leader you will be:
- Evaluating the performance of team personnel, identifying training needs, reviewing the time and attendance of team personnel and processing leaves applications
- Confirming the adequacy of equipment and facilities, acting when and if needed
- Performing visual and/or other checks on equipment and facilities at regular intervals, and performs checks to ensure the quality of the product
- Monitoring individual and departmental performance, assessing and presenting departmental performance through the monitoring of departmental KPI’s
- Collaborating with planning department to issue and follow up with the weekly departmental schedule.
- Ensuring that official documentation is adequately and promptly filled in
- Responsible for the on-time review of departmental SOPs and the writing of new SOPs
- Organizing meetings and participates in intradepartmental meetings
- Training personnel on guidelines, procedures, and technical elements based on company needs and/or personal results of performance evaluation
- Initiating/monitoring disciplinary action within the department as necessary
- Preparing official annual reports to the Head of Factory through the annual department review
- Conduction of investigations and preparation of relevant reports
- Ensuring that tasks and procedures are completed according to established regulations and guidelines such as Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and the current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGLP)
What you will bring:
- Bachelor degree in in Chemical Engineering or another related field.
- Master degree will be considered as an advantage.
- Experience in Pharmaceutical industry will be considered as advantage.
- Good command of the English language
- Quality verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent leadership skills, must be well organised and patient
- Proven ability to prioritise workload and perform well under pressure.
- Computer literacy with working knowledge of MS Office applications
