We are looking for:
A passionate Laboratory Engineer to ensure the reliable, compliant, and efficient operation of laboratory equipment across QC, Microbiology, R&D, and other GxP laboratory environments. You will plan, coordinate, and monitor preventive and corrective maintenance activities, qualification activities, calibration activities, perform troubleshooting, and support the implementation of improvement initiatives. You will ensure that all activities are properly documented in accordance with relevant guidelines, engineering standards, compliance requirements, and company policies. You will contribute to the development, review, and continuous improvement of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and documentation related to laboratory equipment and systems, while remaining updated on the latest technologies and regulatory expectations impacting laboratory operations.
As a Laboratory Engineer you will be:
- Plan, organize, execute, and monitor preventive and corrective maintenance, qualification, and calibration activities for laboratory equipment, ensuring minimal downtime and operational continuity.
 - Provide technical support to the team to resolve laboratory equipment issues efficiently.
 - Ensure accurate and complete documentation of maintenance, qualification, calibration, and troubleshooting activities in compliance with applicable regulations
 - Coordinate daily laboratory engineering activities, including scheduling and prioritization of service tasks, contractor management, and communication with external service providers.
 - Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of protocols, documents, risk assessments and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
 - Maintain and update equipment asset and maintenance records in computerized maintenance management systems or other relevant platforms.
 - Ensure adherence to safety, GMP, and engineering standards and participate in internal and external audits providing technical documentation as required.
 - Participate in cross-functional meetings, technical discussions, and improvement initiatives supporting labs operational excellence and continuous improvement.
 
What you will bring:
- Bachelor degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Chemical Engineering, or any other relevant field.
 - Master degree will be considered as an advantage.
 - Experience in Pharmaceutical industry will be considered as advantage.
 - Good command of the English language
 - Quality verbal and written communication skills
 - Excellent leadership skills, must be well organised and patient
 - Proven ability to prioritise workload and perform well under pressure.
 - Computer literacy with working knowledge of MS Office applications
