We are looking for:

A highly skilled and detail-oriented Junior Microbiologist Analyst to join our microbiology team.

As a Junior Microbiologist Analyst, you will:

• Complete tasks and analysis in accordance with the established regulations and guidelines such as Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), current Good Laboratory Practices (cGLP), and the current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).

• Performe the following tests/analysis including sampling and preparation work for each test:

  • Culture media preparation and examination

  • Microbiological examination of pharmaceutical preparations and substances

  • Water analysis

  • Environmental monitoring

  • Microbiological antibiotics assay

  • Efficacy of antimicrobial preservation and disinfectants

  • Identification of microorganisms

• Take part in the qualification of equipment used in the microbiology laboratory

• Report in writing the results of every test performed, including observations and calculations, and investigating in case of out of specifications results.

• Maintain the testing equipment and laboratory environment in good working order.

• Keep files tidy and up to date.

• Follow company regulations on safety, cleanliness, personal hygiene and tidiness.

• Take part in meetings to discuss matters relevant to the department.

• Follow any other duties assigned to him/her by the supervisor(s).

What you will bring:

• BSc in Biology, Microbiology or any other relevant field.

• MSc will be considered as an advantage

• Good communication and analytical skills.

• Good command of Microsoft Office

• Excellent command of the English language

• Previous work experience will be considered as an advantage
