Job Description: 

We are looking for:
An Indirect Sourcing Specialist to be responsible for the execution, analysis, and continuous optimisation of indirect procurement categories in alignment with the strategic sourcing framework defined by the Head of Procurement & Strategic Sourcing. 
The purpose of the role is to support the development and implementation of sourcing strategies for indirect spend categories (e.g., services, CAPEX, utilities, IT, professional services, logistics, and other non-GMP critical materials).

 

As an Indirect Sourcing Specialist, you will:
•Support the development and implementation of sourcing strategies for indirect spend categories (Opex and Capex) based on spend analysis, business requirements, and cost optimization objectives defined by the Head of Procurement & Strategic Sourcing.
•Define, structure, and manage assigned indirect procurement categories, ensuring clear segmentation, supplier mapping, and spending visibility.
•Conduct detailed spend analysis, cost modeling, and benchmarking to identify savings opportunities and efficiency improvements across indirect categories.
•Develop and execute RFQs/RFPs and tender processes for indirect goods and services, ensuring transparency, competitiveness, and compliance with internal policies.
•Lead price negotiations and commercial discussions for assigned indirect categories within the approved sourcing strategy and delegation of authority.
•Identify, evaluate, and propose new suppliers or alternative sources for indirect categories, conducting market research and supplier pre-qualification assessments.
•Perform supplier due diligence (financial, operational, risk-based) in alignment with company policies and business needs.
•Implement and maintain supplier performance management for indirect categories, including preparation and monitoring of category-level KPIs and dashboards.
•Develop and support supplier optimisation initiatives focused on cost reduction, service improvement, and process efficiency.
•Oversee contract lifecycle activities for assigned indirect categories, including contract review coordination, renewals, amendments, and compliance monitoring.
•Monitor supplier performance results, initiate corrective actions where required, and drive continuous improvement initiatives in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
•Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Supply Chain, Production, Quality, IT, Engineering, and other departments to ensure indirect procurement supports operational and strategic objectives.
•Maintain up-to-date market intelligence on supplier landscapes, industry trends, and cost drivers affecting indirect categories.

 

What you will bring:
•Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Finance, Engineering, Economics, or a related field.
•Minimum of 5–8 years of progressive experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or category management, with significant exposure to indirect spend categories (Opex and Capex).
•Proven experience managing sourcing initiatives for indirect categories such as services, utilities, IT, professional services, logistics, engineering projects, or capital equipment.
•Demonstrated experience conducting spend analysis, cost modelling, benchmarking, and preparing business cases to support cost optimisation initiatives.
•Hands-on experience leading RFQ/RFP and tender processes, including supplier evaluation, commercial analysis, and negotiation within approved sourcing frameworks.
Professional Skills: 
•Strong knowledge of strategic sourcing and category management principles, particularly within indirect spend categories (Opex and Capex).
•Advanced analytical skills, with the ability to conduct spend analysis, cost modelling, benchmarking, and total cost of ownership (TCO) evaluations.
•Strong commercial acumen, including the ability to evaluate supplier proposals, assess cost drivers, and support negotiation strategies within approved governance frameworks.
•Solid negotiation and influencing skills, capable of leading commercial discussions and achieving cost efficiencies while maintaining supplier relationships.
Computer Skills: 
•Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics or equivalent) for procurement, supplier management, and spend analysis.
•Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
•Proficient in English & Greek language
