Head of B2B sets regional channel strategy, drives execution with cross‑functional peers (Portfolio, R&D, Marketing, Market Access, Supply, Finance, QA/RA, PV), and ensures full compliance with pharma codes and competition law. As a senior commercial leader, the role combines strategic direction, people leadership, and hands-on engagement with key customers and partners.
As a Head of B2B you will:

- Identify and prioritize growth opportunities across existing and new markets, channels, and customer segments.
- Set annual and multi-year sales plans, budgets, and forecasts for B2B activities with clear targets for net sales, gross/net margin, market share, and cash/DSO.
- Build and maintain senior-level relationships with key B2B customers and strategic partners.
- Lead negotiations for major commercial agreements and long-term partnerships.
- Govern partner performance via SLAs and scorecards (sell‑out velocity, coverage, OTIF, inventory health, compliance, data sharing).
- Oversee tendering strategy and execution (bid/no‑bid, pricing corridors, compliance documentation, risk assessment, post‑award supply plans).
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction, retention, and long-term value creation.
- Lead B2B sales operations across multiple international markets, ensuring consistent execution and performance.
- Oversee contract negotiations, pricing, discount, and trade‑terms frameworks that protect margin and comply with local regulations/competition law.
- Drive S&OP integration with Demand/Supply to ensure forecast accuracy, high service level and minimal inventory loss.
- Monitor market dynamics, competitive activity, and customer requirements to facilitate data-driven commercial decision-making.
- Work closely with Portfolio/R&D, Marketing, Supply Chain, Regulatory, Finance, and Market Access teams to ensure aligned execution.
- Ensure commercial commitments are realistic and deliverable from a supply and compliance perspective.
- Support new product launches and portfolio expansion initiatives in B2B channels.
- Lead and develop a multi‑country B2B team, coaching for capability (negotiation, key account planning, tendering, financial acumen), and building succession.
- Set clear objectives, KPIs, and performance expectations for the team.
- Foster a culture of performance, collaboration, and integrity; ensure role clarity and resource allocation across markets.
- Ensure all B2B activities comply with applicable laws, regulations, and internal compliance standards.
- Maintain robust contracting controls (DOA, pricing approvals, tender governance, audit readiness) and risk mitigation for parallel trade, shortages, and FX exposure.
What you will bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Life Sciences, or a related field; MBA or equivalent is preferred.
- 10-15+ years in pharmaceutical/healthcare commercial roles, including 5+ years leading B2B, business or key‑account organizations across multiple markets.
- Proven track record in B2B sales, key account management, and tender business across multiple markets.
- Strong financial acumen (P&L, gross‑to‑net, rebate mechanics, DSO, working capital).
- Demonstrated experience leading and developing high-performing, international teams.
- Full professional proficiency in English; additional regional languages are an advantage.
- Strong strategic and analytical thinking with a hands-on execution mindset.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to operate effectively in a complex, matrixed, and international environment.
- Strong financial acumen and experience managing budgets and forecasts.
- Results-driven, resilient, and comfortable operating at senior leadership level.
