Job Purpose:
The purpose of this position is to manufacture requested equipment/parts and execute repairs and improvements in production areas and facilities as requested.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Operating conventional lathe for metal machining. (e.g., fabrication of shafts, gears, screws, bushes, spacers etc)
- Reading and understanding mechanical engineering draft drawings and blueprints.
- Assembling, fitting and repairing mechanical components and production/workshop machinery.
- Using high-precision measuring tools and instruments (calipers, micrometers, etc)
- Be able to file, grind, adjust or modify parts for perfect fittings.
- Identifies faults in mechanical parts. Disassembles and replaces/repairs the problematic components and re-install properly. (e.g. electrical motors, machinery, bearings change, etc)
- Monitoring machinery on a daily basis to ensure functionality and proper working conditions.
- Ensuring that all functionalities of the department comply to the established regulations and guidelines such as Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and the current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).
- Carrying out any other duties as assigned by the by the immediate supervisor.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Technical school diploma or vocational certification in lathe operation, or mechanical engineering, or a related technical field.
- Certification in lathe operation will be considered an advantage
- Minimum 2-3 years of proven experience in a similar position within a machine shop or industrial environment.
- Attention to detail and capability to follow technical instructions and procedures accurately
- Team player
- High attention to detail.
- Good knowledge of Greek basic English knowledge is an advantage.
Salary Range:
Minimum Pay: 18,749.00 EUR gross annually
Maximum Pay: 24,999.00 EUR gross annually
