We are looking for:
A Lab assistant to be responsible for assisting in the execution of QC tasks. Duties include processing samples, supporting analysis and recording findings.
As a Lab Assistant you will be:
- Testing identification of raw materials, intermediates and bulk & packed products
- Undertaking administration duties and reporting and filing using the defined documentation and computer system
- Sampling procedures for materials, intermediates and bulk & packed products
- Performing product’s physical control testing (such as weight, appearance, dimensions, disintegration, hardness, amongst others)
- Inspecting that finished packed products meet the quality standards
- Inspecting that packaging materials meet the quality standards
- Handling of stability samples including receiving and storage as well as updating and monitoring of the relevant databases
- Label placement (such as Released, Quarantine, Rejected) on products and raw materials containers
- Collecting and storing samples in relevant designated areas and register in databases or relevant electronic systems
- Providing supplementary activities related to execution of analysis
- Ensuring that bench work and equipment used is clean and properly maintained
- Contributing to general laboratory housekeeping duties
- Carrying out tasks and analysis according to established regulations and guidelines such as Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), current Good Laboratory Practices (cGLP), and the current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).
