We are looking for:

A Lab assistant to be responsible for assisting in the execution of QC tasks. Duties include processing samples, supporting analysis and recording findings.

As a Lab Assistant you will be:

• Testing identification of raw materials, intermediates and bulk & packed products
• Undertaking administration duties and reporting and filing using the defined documentation and computer system
• Sampling procedures for materials, intermediates and bulk & packed products
• Performing product’s physical control testing (such as weight, appearance, dimensions, disintegration, hardness, amongst others)
• Inspecting that finished packed products meet the quality standards
• Inspecting that packaging materials meet the quality standards
• Handling of stability samples including receiving and storage as well as updating and monitoring of the relevant databases
• Label placement (such as Released, Quarantine, Rejected) on products and raw materials containers
• Collecting and storing samples in relevant designated areas and register in databases   or relevant electronic systems
• Providing supplementary activities related to execution of analysis
• Ensuring that bench work and equipment used is clean and properly maintained
• Contributing to general laboratory housekeeping duties
• Carrying out tasks and analysis according to established regulations and guidelines such as Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), current Good Laboratory Practices (cGLP), and the current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).
