We are looking for:
A highly skilled and detail-oriented Engineering Technician to join our Packing Engineering team.
As a Engineering Technician you will be:
- Preparing and changing machine forming parts/tooling after receiving relevant instructions from the Engineering Supervisor
- Fulfilling scheduled maintenance works/tasks as defined by the relevant software solution and as instructed by the Engineering Supervisor
- Executing troubleshooting of the Production/Packing equipment and assisting fellow colleagues in troubleshooting related activities.
- Training newcomers in changing machines forming parts/tooling, as well as troubleshooting.
- Participating in new equipment installations and coordinating with relevant departments as assaigned by the Engineering Supervisor
- Replacing spare parts and consumables for the Production/Packing equipment in timely and cost-efficient manner, reducing to the minimum the down time of the equipment.
- Maintaining records relevant to Production/Packing equipment maintenance as needed.
- Conducting visual and other kinds of inspections to Production/Packing equipment, reporting any discrepancies to the Engineering Supervisor.
- Ensuring that all activities of the department comply with the established regulations and guidelines such as Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Good Documentation Practices (cGDP) and the current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).
- Carrying out any other duties as assigned by the Engineering Supervisor and Engineering Manager.
What you will bring:
- Technical Certificate or any other relevant diploma/certificate in Engineering field
- 1–3 years of relevant work experience in a technical or engineering support role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting
- Organized and methodical way of thinking
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team
- Demonstrated ability to work in both independent and team environments
- Ability to work under pressure with minimum supervision
