Job Description: 

We are looking for:
An experienced and dynamic Area Sales Manager in the Middle East Responsible for all aspects of commercial business operations including sales, marketing, liaising regulatory affairs and safety working closely with business partner in alignment with function.

As an Area Sales Manager you will:

  • Deliver revenue on/above budget and in line with the relevant forecast. This should be achieved by ensuring the successful performance of all distributors/ agents of ME and in collaboration with other parts of our enterprise. 
  • Drive the optimization/maximization of the value of all partnerships in the region by creating long-term strategic relationships and ensuring solid legal contractual foundations are designed to support profitable growth. 
  • Designs and successfully implements tender & retail business strategy and tactics and ensure flawless end-to-end process management. 
  • Delivers success in tenders supported by market intelligence, analysis, tactics, administration, and pricing while maximizing the outcome. Responsible for obtaining approvals of business cases. 
  • Oversee comprehensive collaborative process and efforts across all functions (sales, finance, customer service, regulatory, quality, export controls, and others) ensuring successful award, on time delivery and receipt of funds for all tenders/ retail business in ME  
  • Oversees development of short-term tactics and longer terms strategies to support business growth in ME, including marketing annual plans and 5 years plan based on determined priorities, as well as portfolio expansion through new launches. 
  • Secures awareness and alignment with regional marketing, portfolio, and business development. Support partner’s market initiatives efforts as appropriate. 
  • Ensures the appropriate contractual foundation and commercial terms for growth and risk management with all partners in the region and is ultimately accountable for the financial performance of all partners. 
  • Identifies new project opportunities to propose to the region to support long-term vision for the region as well as ad-hoc one-time opportunities.  
  • Evaluates existing business models and identifies opportunities for change of market presence models and suggests model changes including geographic expansion and direct presence.
  • Responsible for maintaining full compliance with the regulatory status of all our company products registered in ME via our regulatory function. 

What you will bring: 

  • 5+ years of experience in sales and marketing management, preferably within the GCC and Levant regions.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or a related discipline (such as Life Sciences, Healthcare, or Business).
  • A proven track record of success in a similar role, consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong distributor management experience, with the ability to develop and sustain productive partnerships.
  • Excellent communication skills – written, verbal, and presentation – with the confidence to engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Fluency in English is required; Arabic is a strong advantage.
